While every Tamil movie buff is getting ready to welcome the Deepavali with the grand release of Kamal Haasan's 'Thoongavanam' and Ajith's 'Vedalam' on November 10, the Telugu versions of the two films which were supposed to have a simultaneous release have been postponed.
Kamal's film has been made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and the Telugu version's title is 'Cheekati Rajyam'. Ajith's 'Vedalam has been made in Tamil and it has been dubbed in Telugu as 'Avesham'. It has been confirmed that 'Cheekati Rajyam will release only on November 20 while the release date of 'Aavesham' is yet to be fixed but it will certainly not release around Deepavali.
The reason cited for the postponement is the non availability of theater in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana due to the big Telugu releases for Deepavali.
