SuperStar starts work on Endhiran-2

Superstar Rajinikanth, who is shooting for Pa Ranjith’s Kabali in Bangkok, would be visiting Chennai in the first week of December to participate in a make-up test session for his upcoming science-fiction Magnus opus Endhiran 2. Sean Foot, a senior make-up artist from ‘Weta workshop’ who designed Vikram’s looks in I, would be in charge of Superstar’s avatars in Endhiran 2. Apparently, Superstar’s body double, who would be performing the risky stunts, has already taken the make-up tests.

To be directed by Shankar, the AR Rahman musical would feature Amy Jackson as the female lead, while talks are still on with international star Arnold Schwarzenegger for the antagonist’s role. Endhiran 2 is expected to go on floors by January 2016.

Famous choreographer turned director Lawrence Raghava has made a significant contribution when he announced donating 1 Crore rupee for Chennai flood. He has been known for his humanitarian contribution and is planning to go further. Lawrence has formed a trust in Chennai, which will help the poor and people in this hour of need. And that is not it, director is all set to go explore his philanthropic activities in other regions as well, such as Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
There have been several stars who have made their contribution Chief Minister Relief Fund. Most recently, it is Bahubali star Prabhas and his uncle Krishnam Raju who have come forward to and announced donation of Rs 15L. The other stars to donate are Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Ravi Teja, Kalyan Ram, Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej.

Sj Surya in A New Avatar For His Next Movie !

Actor and film-maker SJ Surya had been among the top three contenders for Vijay’s 60th film for quite some time now. With Bharathan having been signed as the director for Vijay 60, the actor is all set to move on to his next project under his own production.
The film titled as 174, a reference to the section in the Indian Penal Code, would see SJ Surya playing a cop for the first time in his career. Touted to a comic thriller, the film is to be written and directed by debutant Manikandan, a long time assistant of Selvaraghavan.  An official announcement regarding the other cast and crew is expected soon.

Sathish Krishnan Talks About 'Uppu Karuvadu' 

Radha Mohan directorial Uppu Karuvadu had dance choreographer - actor Sathish play the role of an aspiring actor on the verge of his big break. The actor praised the director and other comedy veterans in the film. Talking about the film, he said, “No one is ridiculing the film with trolls and memes. That itself is a big deal in this day and age”.


Sathish revealed, “Radha Mohan sir is such a chilled out person with a natural ingrained humor sense. I thought that he was a serious person as I didn't know him much before this film, but he has a nice casual way of extracting work from his actors. Mayilsamy sir is forever filled with wisecracks whenever he speaks. It would be uninhibited comedy, just being around him. Chaams has a serious face while delivering his lines but his screen presence does the trick. I did learn a few things about comedy from them”.


“The comedy scenes which are being appreciated now by the audiences just happened in the moment and didn't require many takes. The natural spontaneous factor of comedy goes down if a scene is done across many takes. It is so tough to do comedy actually”, he added. The actor also stated that he was inspired by Suriya and his style of acting

'Bobby' Reprising 'Vatti Raja' In 'Neram' Telugu Remake

The recently released film starring Bobby Simha and Reshmi Menon, Urumeen, has been gaining attention, thanks to its non-conventional story. Actor Bobby made his presence felt by his performance in the film Neram. He played the role of Vatti Raja which was well appreciated by the audience.

According to sources, Bobby will reprise his role as Vatti in the Telugu remake of the Neram. The role of Nivin Pauly will be played by Ra Ra... Krishnayya and Joru actor Sundeep Kishan. It has also been reported that Telugu actress Anisha Ambrose has been roped in for the movie as well.

Bobby Simha’s Vatti Raja had an animated moustache in Neram. The actor is known for his roles in movies like Masala Padam, Jigarthanda and the 2013 film Evil Engulfs. Bobby is a fairly new actor in the Kollywood industry with his debut role in the 2012 film Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi.

Siddharth Opens About The 'Chennai' Tragedy

Several actors have come together for the flood relief campaign to aid the people affected by the Chennai floods. Among them is actor Siddharth who played a crucial role in the campaign along with RJ Balaji. The actor spoke to media personnel for the first time on December 7 and shared his thoughts.

He said, “I started doing this may be because I freaked out as I lost my house for the first time in my entire life. There are a lot of people who are doing a great job and all this heroism build-up makes me uncomfortable. We are definitely taking this movement forward by planning out means to rehabilitate people”. Appreciating the contribution of social media in the event, Siddharth said, “I feel social media was put to best use for this cause and we will continue to use it efficiently for our future plans. We understand there are both boons and banes attached to social media and we would like to thank the good things it has done”.

He added, “There is no need to politicise this situation. I feel no state government of our country could have washed away all the damages in a sprint because this is a calamity of epic proportion. I personally do not have any complaints about how our administration has handled the situation. I am overwhelmed by the manner the youth of Tamil Nadu and the country have reciprocated to this situation”.

'Rajinikanth' In Middle Of Twitter Fire

Following the recent post made by Radhika Apte along with a photo of her standing alongside superstar Rajinikanth, the Twitter users have expressed their resentment towards both the actors. The image was tagged “With the man himself!! #Thalaivar #Kabali” in the tweet. The people stated that the duo, especially Thalaivar are enjoying their time in Malaysia while the people in Chennai suffer.

One of the Tweets read, “Chennai is suffering its worst floods and big star Thailavar is busy posing for pictures with actresses. Shame”. Several people had the similar outlook. On the other hand, the Rajinikanth fans hit back saying that the superstar has already donated Rs. 10 Lakh to the Tamil Nadu CM relief fund.
